Cleaning the Infant Crib, Bed and Bedding

Cleaning baby bedding is easy. Simply drop the material in the wash with the rest of your items. Contrary to assertions of manufacturers, there is no need to buy special detergents just for a baby’s use. The only thing you should do is avoid pre-treating the bedding with anything stronger than soap and water. Highly concentrated forms of some types of cleaners can irritate a baby’s skin. A crib and infant bed can be gently spot cleaned with plain soap and water.
